The owner's story

Hi, I’m Valeri, a Dominican mom and the owner of Era Wellness Bar in downtown Concord. I was born in Santiago, raised in St. Maarten, and lived in New Jersey before making North Carolina home. Era brings a little of that journey to the table. I created a wellness café with a Dominican twist, where matcha, smoothies, and açaí bowls sit alongside Dominican tostadas and tres leches. I want people to feel welcome, discover new favorites, and enjoy flavors that remind them of home. Era is my way of sharing my roots while building something meaningful for my family and our community.
